Winter Wine Dinner at Le Yaca in Williamsburg
A benefit for Sister Cities Yorktown
Le Yaca is located at 1915 Pocahontas Trail (Route 60 East), Williamsburg, VA
Menu & Wine: Guests will be treated to a three-course menu featuring a choice of starter, main plate, and dessert accompanied by a complementary glass of French wine with each course. There are three entrée choices, including a vegetarian option, and LeYaca's famous fire-roasted lamb.
Featured wines are: Charles Lafite Brut Prestige, non-vintage, reception; Montagny Premier Cru, Louis Latour, Burgundy, 2009, first course; Chateau Malescot-St. Exupery, Margaux, 1997, main course, and Chateau Villefranche, sauternes, 2002, dessert. Guest speaker Clement Brown will present and explain our wines.
Cost: $70 for Sister Cities Yorktown members; $75 for non-members. Price is all inclusive per person. The price will be adjusted for diners who choose not to have wine.
Reservations are payable in advance by check to Sister Cities Yorktown, 600 Ship Point Road, Yorktown, Va., 23692. Proceeds will benefit Sister Cities Yorktown and its upcoming 2012 Student Exchange with our Port-Vendres sister city.
